Tara Vanderwal may live in a small farming community of Camrose Alberta, but with entrepreneurship and helping others in her blood, she makes a big impact. In the beauty industry since she was 14 years old, she celebrates over 30 years owning and operating her beauty salon this year.

When Tara makes up her mind to do something she does it all the way. Using her salon business to educate herself in every corner of the beauty industry she offers waxing, nails, permanent makeup, hair, and tattooing. In addition, she has partnered with many like-minded entrepreneurs to open the first-ever pet spa, tattoo, photography, and lingerie shops in her town.

Loving a challenge and pushing the boundaries of what is thought possible, the kiss of death for Tara is boredom.  Starting her Tori Belle business in January 2020, when Covid hit she had to close her salon for six months, two years in a row, and her Tori Belle business allowed her to keep her salon.

Tara quickly realized the best way to market TB products was to offer them to businesses. Now specializing in the TB Wholesale opportunity, for a year her goal has been to sign on another business every seven days.

Driving from town to town with her TB products in tow and knocking on doors, she just signed up another business last week! This summer she is excited about promoting products and the wholesale opportunity during weekend trade shows.

As hard as Tara loves to work, she also loves to play just as hard.  Traveling Canada on her fully custom Harley Tri-Glide, fishing around the world or spending time with her son, six grandbabies and the many children she has fostered, Tara is going to live life to the fullest.

Tara’s message is, “Give your strongest effort every time, work hard and never stop reaching for that next goal!”
